KVKK Notice

If the English and Turkish versions of this document differ, the Turkish version prevails.

Under Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), Muhammed Yeğenoğlu (Targity), as data controller, informs you about the processing of your personal data.

This notice covers visitors to targity.com, people who contact us, and store owners and staff who use Targity accounts. For data about stores' own customers, Targity acts as a data processor; the store is the controller and its own privacy notice applies.

2. Personal data processed

• Identity: first and last name.
• Contact: email address, mobile number, address.
• Customer transactions: plan and subscription details, billing details, support requests.
• Transaction security: password hash, sign-in records, IP address, browser information, verification code records.
• Finance: payment records (card details are processed by the payment provider and not stored by us).

3. Purposes

• Managing sign-up and accounts, verifying phone numbers;
• Providing the Service and concluding and performing the contract;
• Billing and payment;
• Answering requests and complaints, providing support;
• Information security and preventing abuse;
• Complying with legal obligations and informing competent authorities;
• With your explicit consent, sending information and marketing about Targity.

4. Collection method and legal bases

Your data is collected electronically, by automated or partly automated means, through the sign-up form, the dashboard, emails and the website. It is processed under Article 5/2 of the KVKK because it is directly related to concluding or performing a contract (c), necessary for the controller to comply with a legal obligation (ç), necessary to establish, exercise or protect a right (e), and necessary for the controller's legitimate interests, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f); marketing messages are based on your explicit consent.

5. Transfers

Your data may be transferred, only for the purposes above, to our hosting, email and SMS delivery, domain and payment providers (Hetzner Online GmbH, Cloudflare, Inc., Google LLC, Uzman Posta, Netgsm, PayTR) and to authorities entitled by law. Because our servers are in the European Union (Finland) and some providers operate abroad, your data is transferred outside Türkiye; these transfers are made in line with Article 9 of the KVKK, with appropriate safeguards such as standard contracts.

6. Retention

Data is kept for as long as the purpose requires and for the periods set by law, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Detailed periods are in the Privacy Policy.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it;
• learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly;
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred;
• request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate;
• request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK;
• request that third parties to whom data was transferred be notified of corrections, deletions or destruction;
• object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis;
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

8. How to apply

In line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, send your request with information that verifies your identity from the email address registered with us to privacy@targity.com, or in writing to Kartal, İstanbul, Türkiye. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the action involves an additional cost, the fee set by the Board may apply.
